By Priyanka (The Purplenista)
A life known, A world unchanged,
A decision taken, To lifelong fulfill,
A mind set till the end,
A mind set till death part.
A blast from the past,
That memories revives, fond and happy, of ultimate joy,
A blast from the past,
That memory revives, sad and hurt, of ultimate sorrow
A blast from past,
That foundation shakes, and cripples façade,
Of confusion and reservations that stealthily creep,
With doubts and worries that slowly stream.
Of memories sad and memories bad,
Of feelings hurt and feelings torn,
Of memories sad and feelings hurt, pushed aside in darkness deep.
Rise of second chances and second guesses,
Rise of dreams unfulfilled, rise of hopes being fulfilled
To a mind torn, between two
To a mind pulled, between two
A person new, a person old
To decisions wrong and decisions right,
Morally high and morally low,
To a mind pulled, between two,
Weighing heavily on one.
